Meet a few of the Team
Miles Procter
Managing Director
Miles Procter is the Managing Director of Eco Home Group Ltd., bringing more than two decades of specialist experience in energy conservation and low-carbon technologies. A qualified Renewable Energy Engineer and certified underfloor heating specialist, Miles has dedicated his career to designing and delivering practical, high-performance solutions that make homes and buildings more efficient, comfortable and sustainable.
Over the course of his career, Miles has overseen in excess of 5,000 installations, covering a broad spectrum of renewable and energy-efficient systems. His technical expertise spans insulation, solar thermal heating, hot water system design, heat pump design, solid fuel heating design and biomass. This hands-on experience, combined with his engineering background, means he understands every stage of a project — from initial concept and system design through to installation, commissioning and long-term performance.
Before leading Eco Home Group, Miles ran multiple national installation companies, building and managing teams that delivered large volumes of work while maintaining high standards of quality and customer care. This experience has shaped his leadership approach: he is commercially astute, operationally focused and deeply committed to doing things properly, with an emphasis on safety, reliability and long-term value for clients.
At Eco Home Group, Miles applies this blend of technical knowledge and leadership experience to guide the company’s strategy, operations and culture. He is closely involved in shaping the Group’s service offering and ensuring that engineering decisions are aligned with both regulatory requirements and real-world performance. His ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical solutions has made him a trusted partner for homeowners, developers and industry stakeholders alike.
One of Miles’ most significant recent achievements has been successfully transitioning Eco Home Group into employee ownership. This move reflects not only a strategic decision about the future of the business, but also his personal ethos as a leader. By sharing ownership with the people who work in the company, Miles has reinforced a culture of shared responsibility, collaboration and long-term commitment. He firmly believes that those who contribute to the success of the business should have a stake in its future, and the employee ownership model embodies that belief.
This decision also says a great deal about Miles’ values. He is an inclusive leader who prioritises transparency, open communication and mutual respect. He works hard to create an environment where people feel listened to, trusted and empowered to make a difference. His focus on rewarding those who remain committed around him has helped to build a loyal, engaged team that takes pride in the quality of its work and the impact it has on customers and the environment.
Under Miles’ leadership, Eco Home Group continues to grow as a forward-thinking, values-driven business, combining technical excellence with a genuinely people-centred approach.
Notable projects he’s worked on include building a luxury energy-efficient Eco Home in 2020 that was commissioned by a premier league footballer, and providing consultancy services on Jane Goodall’s island in Africa along with installing energy efficient solutions. He has pioneered and developed a number of important products all with the focus on energy conservation.
